Knicks vs Cavs 1st Round Series (Mitchell Getting *** Whooped by Brunson Season 2)

You're posting on the internet from Alabama. I'm just hoping you can form complete sentences and maintain internet connection.
Cool burn bro.

I'm from Alabama. I live in Nashville.

What's your take now? Gonna hate on country music? You are so incredibly lame it's beyond sad.

Go troll somewhere else. Go argue with THJ in y'all's DMs
You started the troll thread. Man up, swallow whatever pride you have, and take your prediction beatings.

Starting this thread to hopefully clear your name doesn't clear your slate of being wrong time and time and time and time and time again.

I was wrong about the Wolves man. Does it make you hard to see me post that or something because I've said it numerous times.

You said Rudy had a bad year.

You literally came at me for years over stuff you twisted into me supposedly saying. You said Rudy was going to make Minny contenders. You lifted them upon the mountain. When Don got traded, you were saying he wouldn't even be an All Star or make Cleveland relevant.

But I do appreciate you owning it about the Wolves. At the end of the day, we're just freaking fans. Fans of teams, players, etc. I don't make it personal with you because why? What the hell do I have to gain? But if I'm in the gym with my boys and one of them said some of the stuff you said last summer, I'd be giving him **** too. It would all be with a smile, but that **** talk was coming.

I don't care how big of a Donovan Mitchell fan you are - saying that "the Mitchell trade was stupid" is insane.

We got an All-NBA caliber player in return + 3 1st rounders + 2 swaps + Sexton + Ochai.

Lauri's per 36 this season: 26.8/9/1.9 on an insane eFG of 58.6%
Mitchell's per 36 in his best Jazz season: 27.5/4.5/5.7 on an eFG of 53.3%
Mitchell's per 36 this season: 28.5/4.3/4.5 on an eFG of 57.2%

I'm not sure what the gap between the two players is, but it sure as hell isn't 3 1st rounders, 2 swaps, Sexton, and Ochai.

Mitchel didn't make the Cavs relevant. He's probably stunted the growth of Garland to some extent and they will lose in the first round. As someone pointed out they have a terrible record against good teams. He's had a good year. I don't think I ever predicted that Mitchell would just fall off a cliff production wise.

I like Lauri. I like him a lot. I was for going after him when we still had Rudy and Don. I was really excited to get other pieces in that Cleveland trade. They are nice. I like Kessler too and players we have since traded from Minny.

But you don't seem to understand what my point is - if you add Lauri to Coach Hardy, Donovan Mitchell, Kessler and a couple other pieces, we're a badass team. We could be a home court West team right now.

We can debate Donovan vs Lauri all day long. The chess move would have been keeping Don and adding Lauri. Not building around Don will end up being one of the most puzzling moves in our franchise history when it's all said and done.

C'mon man, you're grasping at straws.

Cleveland is 7 games better this year than last. They completely missed the play-in last year, and they are a home playoff team this year. Donovan Mitchell was not only an All Star, he was voted in by fans over Kyrie and other huge names. He was top 10 in scoring. People can blame injuries for Cleveland last year, but Don still missed 14 games this year. Garland 13. Allen 14.

Minnesota not only didn't become your contender, they lost 4 more games than the year before. Playoff team to Play-In team. Rudy wasn't up for any awards and definitely didn't make the All Star team.

And all the talk on this forum was the drama Donovan supposedly brought to our team. He's been nothing but embraced this year by the NBA and his young teammates in Cleveland. Rudy? He's literally punching at teammates.

C'mon man. C'mon

Last year they were on a 51 win pace as late as mid-February before everybody got injured and their season got derailed.

Plus Mobley/Allen/Garland are all young guys who are following a natural improvement arc. Donovan just adds some fluff scoring.

Let's see if he backups his talk about defense this year in the playoffs. Will he even try guarding Brunson or will they give him the soft Barrett assignment? Watch RJ become Maple Mamba this series if that happens.

The lengths you guys will go to in order to minimize Donovan Mitchell's impact is simply remarkable.

You sure are hoping aren't you?

Hopefully, Rudy will spend time in the offseason working on his dribbling because his boxing training didn't seem to work that well.

I typed one sentence.
Definition of 'go to great lengths'
If you say that someone goes to great lengths to achieve something, you mean that they try very hard and perhaps do extreme things in order to achieve it.
