David Locke has discovered Kobe Bufkin and is pushing a debate between Cason Wallace and Kobe Bufkin at #9. He thinks the Wizards are definitely taking a PG at #8.

He says the Wiz are going pg like that’s a bad thing… it’s pretty ideal as we can likely move up and scoop a pg or one will fall to 16. I’m pretty cool with Bufkin, Black, or Wallace. If Hendricks/Walker/Thompson fall in our laps that’s a win. I think it also makes it more likely we could move up in that scenario strangely… like Portland may take Scoot and wait… Houston may do the same with Amen… landing Walker at 9 instead of giving up 9 blind gives the 9th pick way better value to those teams imo.

It’s very much a brainer but both guys will be excellent defenders.

I think Wallace will be too small if switched onto a wing but Black won’t be…

About Black's shot going in in workouts... I've seen some of that footage... I'm a bit queasy about his shot. To me it looks very robotic and deliberate in those workouts. I'm not sure it will translate in-game. Good to see he's worked on it, but I'm still not a believer in it. It doesn't look natural to me, even when he hits it in those workouts.

He's shooting a set shot from in front of his nose. It's not conducive to shooting off the dribble or off of movement right now. He could change it a bit though.

Don’t you think Cason’s lack of size and/or elite athleticism could limit his ceiling and projection?

cason is definitely a plus athlete, bordering on elite. 38" vert is impressive. and his length at 6'9" ws is excellent for a PG - better even than his most similar comp in Jrue.

Amen at the 5 spot? I would trade the Lakers pick and a Cleveland pick to Detroit and keep 9. Have 5, 9, 16, 28. Trade 16, 28 to move up as well. Amen, Bilal, GG. Hardcore upside swings. Nice! And get Isaiah Wong in the 2nd round.

Draft capital poor but yeah they might want a pick this year and a player. For Amen I would put 3 future picks in okay if that is all it is going to cost. Detroit would take that.
