A starter on a team in the Finals. Sounds like a compliment.
It was based on college stats, but sure...that too.

Freshman year college stats. Brown’s shooting regressed his sophomore year and he didn’t improve as much as you would expect. It was based on college stats, but sure...that too.
I’m able to talk myself into Ausar pretty easily.Vecenie had a pod on Bilal today and I thought it hit a lot of the thoughts I have on him. Until the last couple weeks he had a usage similar to Isaac Okoro... he could be awesome or pretty meh... he's the biggest swing in the draft and it really depends on if you believe in his lower league or most recent production. I buy that and think its reasonable... i think there are lots of middle ground outcomes too. Just not quite a bet I would make at 9 but probably not there at 16.
They also talked Ausar and I think that is the guy most likely to slide to #9 of the group of Taylor, Jarace, Ausar.
That’s Podz.Im fine with going point guard over big wing if there is a steph curry type point guard. A devin booker type point guard. A luka doncic type point guard. But if we are drafting more of a ricky rubio type point guard then no thanks. I dont want a floor general. I dont want a defensive stopper. If im prioritizing drafting a point guard then I want a dynamic one on the offensive end too.
JHS teh Devin Booker type PG. Not saying he will be as good as Devin Booker, because obviously he probably won't be, but he's the closest thing to Booker in this draft.Im fine with going point guard over big wing if there is a steph curry type point guard. Yeah, cuz JHS ****ing sucks *** at shooting. At a certain point the ball has to go in the god damn bucket at a minimal rate and he was flat out BAD at that. Players can usually get better but his numbers are not even on a margin that lets me believe he’s a good bet.You can’t seriously believe that. JHS is nowhere near the shooter Booker was coming out. Not even in the same stratosphere.
I guess you didnt read the part where I said he clearly is not as good as Booker. You can’t seriously believe that. JHS is nowhere near the shooter Booker was coming out. Not even in the same stratosphere.
yup. he steps into the nba on day one with a clear cut nba skill. if he proves to be able to do more than that - put it on the floor a bit, defend at a high level, it's gravy. at worst you have him coming in and doing what Strus is doing for the heat.We kinda need to prioritize weaponizing Lauri and a low usage gunner is not high on the list, but Hawkins has really faded into the background as the far-and-away best player on the NCAA champion whose role projects cleanly to the pros.
