I guess you didnt read the part where I said he clearly is not as good as Booker.
I guess you clearly don’t understand that someone who can’t shoot isn’t the closest thing to Booker in the draft.

Yeah, I think you are being incredibly short sighted if you think JHS is a bad shooter. He is a high level mid-range shooter (you know, the most Devin Bookery thing that Devin Booker does) and his 3pt shot looks promising. If you take out his corner attempts, he was a 38% 3pt shooter. So he shot really well at the harder 3pt shots (believe he was 38% out of PNR for 3's), but just isnt comfortable at knocking down what is generally thought of as the easier shot. That will come along and he will be a fine shooter.Yeah, cuz JHS ****ing sucks *** at shooting. At a certain point the ball has to go in the god damn bucket at a minimal rate and he was flat out BAD at that. Players can usually get better but his numbers are not even on a margin that lets me believe he’s a good bet.
You are taking an incredibly black/white view of shooting for someone who is an Anthony Black stan and wants us to not think about his shooting.I guess you clearly don’t understand that someone who can’t shoot isn’t the closest thing to Booker in the draft.
I like him… I love the idea of what he could be. I’d take that bet at 5I’m able to talk myself into Ausar pretty easily.
For context, JHS has a better pull-up 3P percentage (37% on 54 3PA) than premium shooters like Brandon Miller (33% on 76 3PA), Sensabaugh (26% on 31 3PA), Whitehead (36% on 22 3PA), Jett Howard (30% on 63 3PA), Jordan Hawkins (31% on 58 3PA), and Keyonte George (35% on 99 3PA).
Basically, the only lottery-caliber shooter in this draft with better pull-up 3P shooting is Gradey Dick, who shot a scorching 53.5% but only on 43 pull-up 3PA (Saint Cy Edit: I believe most of these from Dick are 1 dribble pull ups).
It doesn't end there. From off-dribble/pull-up midrangers, JHS (42% on 142 2PA) is in a tier with Brice Sensabaugh (53% (!!) on 97 2PA) and maybe Cason Wallace (45% on 58 2PA) and I guess Scoot Henderson (38% on 151 2PA).

So I shouldnt compare the best college mid-range pull up shooter to the best NBA mid-range shooter? Ok.What? I understand Black’s biggest flaw is his shooting. I’m not the one comparing him to Booker. I believe he will be serviceable from 3.
He shot 3% worse than Wallace on triple the attempts. I have no idea what Black's were, but I'm sure it was a tiny sample size nowhere comparable to JHS.JHS shot worse on off the dribble/pull-up 2’s than Black and Wallace.
So I shouldnt compare the best college mid-range pull up shooter to the best NBA mid-range shooter? Ok.
And like I said, I didnt say they are of equal quality. I simply said JHS and Booker play alike and they clearly do. Hop off the dick, especially when I clearly state I wasnt calling him as good as Booker. You're so thirsty for me it's embarassing.
It feels very personal here. Dont know why people want to create such hostility over draft takes.I’m pretty sure Sensabaugh is the best college kid-range pull-up shooter.
You fell off hard. You’re clinging on to your Kuzma take. Since then you’ve been absolute trash.
JHS will be out of your top-10 in about a week.
