I'm less inclined to take someone who can't shoot, simply because of the point you noted. That said, they can develop (Lonzo and Horford, etc.), but it can take years to do.Kind of an interesting thought though, if you had to pick 4 of the top ten that end up as below league average players, who would you pick?
I think the most likely would be Thompson Twins, Walker, and Black. The reasoning for all of them is shooting. If you can't shoot and you aren't a center, you are very likely a below league average player.
I haven't thought too hard about this, so I could be swayed. I do recognize that shooting is one of the more likely weaknesses to be improved on.
