UTA is high on Hawkins. We could move around in multiple scenarios with the picks we have.

NSJ draft range at the top is 8/11/13/14 and goes into the late teens. He is drawing serious interest at 11/13/14.

Howard’s draft range starts at 11, TOR at 13 and UTA at 16 will consider taking him.

Keyonte also has wide draft range from 11-21.

It sounds like we are targeting Jarace/Hendricks at 9 and a shooter at 16 if we stand pat. Black falling to 9 could change our plans. It also sounds like we’re taking a long look at Bilal.

These are the most likely scenarios currently in my opinion:

Jarace/Hendricks/Black at 9
Dick/Hawkins/Jett at 16

Potential trade up to 10 to get Bilal if Black falls to 9?

I never personally bought the idea that we have to or will draft a PG. I still believe our FO is higher on Sexton than being reported.

Not a lot of talk surrounding Wallace/JHS/Bufkin to us right now. Could obviously be a smokescreen though.

We also could have different plans to get a PG in FA.
 
I think Black goes top 8, meaning we take whoever falls between Ausar/Walker/Hendricks. I'm ok with that, but gutted that we won't get Bilal :(

Sounds like Ausar likely doesn’t fall past 7. It also sounds like we could trade up for Bilal if Black falls to us at 9.

Thanks for the summary. Seems this place is pretty on the money with what the actual decision makers are considering.
 
I know Cy is occasionally petulant, aggressive, and often wrong…but if we’re being completely honest, hardly anybody here has a better track record here on prospects than him. Some of you make it too personal with him. Get out of your feelers and just keep it to ball.

The thing with Danny is... he doesn't give a flying F about what consensus mocks or big boards say, what experts are saying, etc. He picks whoever he thinks is the best player. Most people didn't think Brown was worth top 3 pick. The consensus was that Fultz was the best player when they had the no. 1 pick... and Danny just traded back and got the actual best player in that draft. That's to say... I wouldn't exclude Danny just loving one of the other players and taking him over any or all of Ausar/Walker/Hendricks...
