I get the NBA being seemingly lower on Miller.

His shot is hideous. He shot a decent %, but it being decent felt flukey. Everything about his game is bit odd looking and clunky.

You can explain away his numbers as being he was the only relevant big man on the Ignite this year so him getting #'s was basically a given. I dont think NBA teams are really valuing G-League stats, right or wrong, so the aesthetics of his game are going to be judged more than the stats.

I also think him look absolutely awful in last year's combine scrimmages probably left a bad first impression with a lot of teams.

Couldnt you argue the opposite? That being the only big on Ignite should have made it more difficult to put up numbers?

Regardless, he continues to be slept on at 19 playing a grown mans league and putting up legit numbers.

I think the Jazz are going to package 16 + 28 to move up a few spots. Marc Stein was reporting that's what the Jazz are trying to do. Jazz are probably looking at Wallace, George, Bufkin and Hood-Schifino in the early teens.

NOLA needs some cap relief. They're also looking to swing a big deal. Jazz can help there.

You could certainly argue that from an efficiency standpoint.

I really wonder if the Jazz are willing to deal Sexton and if any of these teams value Sexton. I could see New Orleans saying "Hey, we need a PG and we need some other players who can create offense" and convincing themselves Sexton could be that guy for them. Same with the Raptors if they dont want a full-rebuild and would rather just re-tool and need a cheaper PG option than FVV.

Yeah... tell me the bigs in the G League are trash all you want... they are grown ups... and they are better than college bigs... and Miller was 18/19 and doing effing work.

Its the whole backstory, plus the production, plus the fact that he is clearly working his *** off to get better... and then I'm like... he's 6-10 with 7-2 wingspan... maybe we are overthinking this a bit.

That's pretty questionable. The best college bigs are going overseas or getting in the NBA. Bigs are in such high demand overseas it leads to a pretty scant talent pool in the G-League.

I think Dallas or maybe Washington (Sexton obviously a good time on a rebuilding team) would take a look. I also think NY might buy in since Quickley may come in over budget for them. @KqWIN called that scenario out too.

I think Sexton would have some interest, but just like Ochai... not sure how much he moves the needle.

Yeah that's what I've been saying with Walker. If you envision Lauri in a 4/5 combo in a 5 out situation, you ideally want someone like Jarace with him. But if you already have Kessler and you're married to the idea of him being a franchise cornerstone, that fit is a little more contentious and you're really counting on Jarace to be able to shoot it.

I stopped myself from mentioning the sub-optimal fit with Walker cuz I ain’t tryna look like a hater, but, yeah.
