Frankly, I don’t give a damn about your stats. I’m pissed at what DeSantis is doing per higher education at public institutions of learning in Florida. Now. At THIS time. And I posted several articles that expressed the deep concerns many have regarding those changes. Yes, I was an instructor for a spell. At an institution of higher learning. History. I viewed higher education as a goal all unto itself. That LEARNING was a most worthy goal unto itself. That KNOWLEDGE was a noble thing, a higher goal. I brought that very idealism into every classroom I entered. Into every class I taught. DeSantis is about control. DeSantis is about the destruction of “woke” in the classroom. I care about what’s going on now, regarding academic freedom, and attacks on same, in Florida, and elsewhere censorship and control want to restrict academic freedom.

He has no stats. No one considers Florida the best state for education in the country. That, by virtually every real source, goes to NJ, Massachusetts and Connecticut in no particular order, almost every year.
