Has the CJ experiment ended?

He hasn't played much for the last couple games. Do you think Corbin is putting an end to this experiment?

Yes.

That is until CJ learns to play team basketball and doesn't try to play ratball whenever he gets on the court.

He's only had seven years to figure this out. (edit: CJ has. Well, kinda Ty too.)

You know what they say, don't count your chickens all in one basket.

Nah, KOC just told Ty to showcase Howard for an upcoming trade. I'm sure Kevin and CJ's agent are already discussing a 5 yr/$35M contract.

You can't fix stupid. How many meaningless foul calls does CJ get when we're in the penalty? Should not be happening to a 7h year player.

There is already a 61 page thread about this. Why do you people start threads that already exist and are already much better than this.

As an affirmed CJ apologist, you can take this with a grain of salt. I don't think anyone is upset with how CJ is playing. I think he's caught in a numbers game. Ty believes he has to start Bell (don't get me started.) So that leaves 4 guys for the other minutes. It's not like Wards are going to lose time. So the last spot is between CJ and Burks. Burks has played well (until last night) and he's getting the time.

I think there are people that are upset with CJ playing. Stupid fouls and plays. That really shines thru when the other wings have high BBIQ. Hayward, Bell and Burks make smart plays all the time. Then CJ comes in and makes a boneheaded move and it really stands out.

Like I said in another thread, no one has an anointed position on this team. If CJ doesn't learn from this competitive experience, there's really not much hope for his career in Utah. Not bashing on him, really would like to see his light bulb go on and STAY ON! But when it fades, coach Ty will be watching and quickly show him the bench.
