Game #9: Cavs at Jazz Tuesday 01/10/2012 7 pm MST

The game is at 7 MST, NOT 8:30. I thought I'd point this out so that nobody misses the game. I know I would've. A mod should change the title of the thread.

problem if is cj got traded to the lakers he'd suddenly would live up to his potential.
and the lakers would rape the jazz even more

CJ was a mid-2nd round pick. What's this "potential" you speak of?

The only potential CJ has to be a legit, starting scorer in this league was made up by unrealistic Jazz fans.

Went into Fanzz Saturday just to look around. The guy there told me they had too many tickets for tonights game and if I spent $50 instead of the $100 I'd get a pair. Bought a couple shirts and an outfit for my son and got row 3, center court upper bowl tickets for tonight.

And you wait until now to tell us...

One of these days, possibly more than one I will be making the 4 hour drive up there for a game. Just so much more than a ticket for me though. Gas, 2 meals (at least), hotel...bleh. Did it last year adn got a hat and Hayward jersey.

Whenever a player comes straight out of high school people automatically assume they have an unlimited ceiling. That coupled with all the false hype by The Jazz PR machine (i.e. best player in practice) surrounding CJ created a little cult following of people who, I suspect, rarely, if ever, watched him play.

CJ and his family got duped by an agent who felt his two years of making the NBA Minimum as a 2nd round pick would benefit him in the long run over two or three years at The University of Texas. Who knows, maybe he was right - it doesn't really matter. At this point it looks like CJ has about 58 games left in his career as a member of The Utah Jazz and I'm definitely OK with that.
