This is what I squawked about all draft season as to why he shouldn’t be a top ten pick for our rebuilding team that has Markkanen. He feels like a good 2-3 years from even starting to progress and produce in any meaningful way, which may make it necessary to scrap the current rebuild by trading Markkanen. This is exactly why I didn’t want Hendricks then the jazz went out and traded for Collins and his bloated contract who plays the same position.too early to tell, feel for the game isn't as NBA ready as billed. Give him time.
A top ten pick in a loaded draft and that’s his ceiling. I hope to god that’s not what he is.I'm really not worried about his offense. His future role with the Jazz could be as simple a hanging out in a corner. I'm confident he can figure that role out in time.
As long as his shooting stroke doesn't look broken, I'm not concerned.
