2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

man, dillingham and sheppard are so damn good. i wish they were both 2 or 3 inches taller.

couldn't be more impressed with sheppard's defense. also, in regard to sheppard, there were multiple times i saw him in HS playing against higher rated kids (and he was a highly rated kid himself to be fair), and he always outplayed them. dude can simply play the game. he's short, but that's a guy i'm betting on every time.

He is short for a shooting guard but I think he can be a legit pg and has solid size for that position.

JZ: This kid in Kentucky is shooting the piss out of it and gets like 5 steals a game. Great athlete and He’s 6-3 ish…

Ainge: 6-3???? Cmon

JZ: Did I mention… he’s white

Reed Sheppard is who people thought Davion Mitchell was.
Reed shoots the piss out of it though. Like so many of his makes are the pure swish dead center shots. Not sure anyone expected that from Davion.

IIRC, Davion tricked people by shooting 45% from 3 his last year (though his FT% was still terrible).
I think the book on him was he will shoot it well enough. I think Reed might be like a top ten percentile type shooter.

Maybe....I just remember being confused as all hell as to how he got drafted so high. There were so many weird things people were hyping him up about, I think he jumped at least a couple spots because had the same number and initials as Don haha. To this day I'll say it.....Butler > Mitchell.

Sheppard the truth. So is Dillingham.

Kentucky might have the two best PG in this draft on one team.

This Kentucky team could round into something special once Bradshaw gets back. They are really fun to watch when the ball isn't sticking because they have weapons everywhere.
