Buzelis needs to come back from his injury. I keep watching videos of his work out with Flagg and I come away thinking he is similar but a lot less fluid as Flagg.

I see a lot of potential in Buzelis. I have read comps that compare Franz Wagner. That would be a perfect fit for the jazz. I just need to see him play.

I am very concerned about his defense.

Buzelis should probably stay out and let the hype do the work for him

Does he have limited tools? He is really skilled and a solid athlete.

Regardless of how athletic he is he's going to be seen as limited because he doesn't show great separation moves (though he doesn't really try/have to do that) and he probably has a tiny wingspan.

Does anyone have the courage to draft a 6'2" white guy with limited tools in the top half of the lottery, even if he shoots like Mark Price?

I mean, someone once drafted Trae Young pretty high.

In this draft I have zero problem with that. If he wasn’t getting like 6 stocks per 36 (WTF) I’d be hesitant. Maybe he’s TJ McConnell with a laser and that’s a pretty damn good player.

I mean, someone once drafted Trae Young pretty high.

He had gawdy stats but yeah I think most will turn their nose at the physical limitations and a few will ignore it. I could also see him putting up 30 in a tournament game and being a top 5 pick in this draft.

I was actually going to invoke the the name of Seth Curry with elite defense.

I think you can invoke Steve Nash and it not be a crazy take. He just doesn't seem to have the volume scoring mentality to say Steph

Depending on how long Wagner is out for it might start going that way.


If Wagner is healthy they probably just continue an even minutes split like the Booker season team where they played all their top guys pretty evenly.

No idea if he is that level of passer. He seems to be playing really well within his game so yeah I get the volume scoring thing. I'm going to stick with "TJ McConnell with a bleeping laser" as my comp.
