I also got some **** for saying the floor isn't spaced for drivers with Collins/Kessler on the floor together. I think its more spaced right now.

I think JC's ball stopping and perpetual dribbling is a big cause of the offensive woes. Having everyone stand around and watch him cook was boring and ineffective... but everyone seemed to defer to it.

Also think a part of it is, when you look at the recent stretch of games Sexton/THT have played well in, the teams we are playing are typically not great at rim protection or play a lot of small ball.
 
Sexton averaged 24.3 PPG for an entire season before so that is promising for his current play.

I get it, but my point was that Sexton's inflated numbers are fool's gold. We're obviously not building anything around 6'1'' Collin Sexton starting, playing 30+ minutes on high usage and averaging almost 20 FGA's per game (like he's done over the last five games). I mean... according to the beat reporters he's one of the players Ainge is hoping to move.

I suspect that the rest of the NBA is thinking along the exact same lines, so all this isn't improving his trade value at all. It's no big secret that if you give Collin enough minutes, touches and shots and let him run wild, eventually he's going to put up some numbers. He's done it before, both in Cleveland and in Utah.

But nobody's going to trade for him to do that.

Good gawd man this is a rebuilding team and you need to take the small victories when you can. Some of the guys seems to be improving.

You are obviously a Lauri fan (I get that) but you come on here and **** on every other guy on the team.

Stop twisting my words. You know very well what I meant – Sexton most likely isn't in Danny's future plans. He's literally among the guys the Jazz is trying to find takers for and was already made available last summer. You're free to think he's a keeper, but that's not based on anything.

You really have trouble with reading comprehension, don't you? I guess it's nice that Collin is putting up gaudy counting stats while getting tons of minutes and shots, but it's just weird to treat this stuff as if it's taking place in a vacuum. On a rebuilding team, every decision should have a longer term purpose (that's what people always tell me anyway) and I fail to see how playing Sexton like he's Ja Morant is advancing anything. As I pointed out above, it's not improving his trade value either.

Man, I'm fed up with this **** show of a season.
