Crazy thing is that for the season he isn't really playing much better than last season. He was really good last season too.

Of course during this winning streak he is certainly on another level

His court awareness is better, and he's doing it against starters. His defense has been better too, better than it has been his entire career. His help defense is on point.

To me the biggest turnaround over the past month is the defensive effort. It went from nonexistant to tenacious. Good to see.
