Potential Trade Targets

Clarkson is clearly the best player in a Grimes / Founier / JC deal.

Grimes is averaging 6 pts per game and he was getting close to 30 mpg for a while this season. Plus, he wants a bag in 1.5 years. Its a rental.

If thats the deal, then NY needs to send a 1st.

Fournier can be a good bet of price very low. Need to play or he may miss Olympics in France. If we get the Fournier from Orlando, i'm all in. I'm not fan of the NY one and he did not play for one year.
I see him at world cup. He was pretty good, but have up and down which was quite normal after a long time without playing + France was really bad.

Yeah Danny doesn’t do it without a first I don’t believe. But with a first it’s intriguing because of what we’ve managed to do with Sexton and Dunn. That, the timeline and the first.

I'm more interested in Dejounte now and think he could fit long term. I don't think he fits well with Sexton but isn't the worst pairing. My preference is to sell high on him or move him to 6th man and trade Clarkson. I think Dejounte is an all star here or close to it. This is with the assumption coach wants him.

We still really need to consolidate a bit.

It sounds like if Clarkson gets traded it is going to be for a haul. Ian Begley is reporting the Jazz want a lot for him. Multiple teams have called inquiring about him. We might be surprised at the return. Multiple firsts or a good prospect and a first.

I would be shocked, but I hope you're right. :)

Apparently the FRP is the hold up with NY. I like grimes and think he would flourish in Utah and I guess you could call him a young talent.

With D Murray from ATL I wonder if there are some attitude questions there, he may not be the best locker room persona. Atlanta just signed him to a long deal and now putting him on the trade block, didn't fit in with San Antonio apparently.

He played 38 games his rookie year but the way he made it sound like he never got on the court.
