They are not in the same boat. Keyonte is a rookie that played one year in college and just turned 20. Ochai played 4 years and has a season of NBA experience under his belt and will be 24 in April. Ochai's shooting has regressed. His percentages have been poor for a while, and even worse, they aren't small misses. Hey may end up turning a corner, but his window to do so is much smaller than Keyonte's. He has has some very good transition D, but as others have said, his half court defense is just ok. I would not be sad to see him traded for a decent frp.
Key does a lot of good and bad stuff, which is normal for a 20 year old. He still needs to improve a lot, especially in D and lazy passing, but despite his poor 3pt% his shot looks pretty good, usually missing back iron. I expect he'll take a big leap next year.
