Potential Trade Targets

Kuminga is finally breaking out in GSW, which leaves them with a tough decision to make as he doesn't fit Curry/Klay/Draymond’s timeline. The kid will need to get paid soon and I doubt he has any interest to continue playing for Kerr. There’s a window of opportunity to buy low on a future all-star and I think we should make a move.

Pretty soon he'll be closer to 30 than 20.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
I mean, yeah, I'm not saying I expect Ochai to ever to be a guy who is really worth much, but if you're a high character professional who can knock down a corner 3 at a high rate and defend stars, you have a place on a NBA team for as long as your defense is still relevant.

Also Ochai has doubled his block and steal rate this season. It's not like this season has been a step back in any way. It might not be a massive step forward, but he has increased his defensive activity to be more affective than just a man defender.

He was a good and willing passer with the Spurs. I would appreciate that.
The stuff that was said... the defense is there at times for a few minutes if he locks in but when he's not locked in its pretty bad. He isn't strong enough to guard the bigger wings and is more useful against point guards... just not as versatile as advertised. He also said he does move the ball but he's a guy that likes to hold and assess a bit more than is ideal. Its an issue with (checks the roster) all of our guards except maybe Key. Again... its not stuff that is a deal killer but its stuff that stops me from sayin "just throw two picks at em and get it done!!!"

Heard the locked on hawks guy talking about him and it definitely made me move more towards passing on him. Nothing crazy… just some stuff that would likely drive us crazy.
This has been my concern about him all along. He seems a bit immature and may still have some ego issues. Has there been locker room problems because of it? Maybe. Don’t know. Pretty sure Danny/Zanik have looked into this if they consider trading for him.

@HermanG had some great quotes from Hardy as well about not wanting a vet pg. He would have direct intel from their time together. If we pass I'm comfortable knowing we had a lot of info.

I'm not sure its an attitude thing at all. I think its just something that happens when you go from a defensive "star" to an offensive "star". Offense is more fun and pays more most of the time. Like Mikal Bridges defense has slipped big time too now that he is doing more. I would expect a guy like Murray to have some slippage on defense but when you aren't locked in being really bad or completely inattentive is a red flag to me. Holding the ball a little too long is also a pet peeve of mine when watching or playing.

True unless perhaps a player option is involved. But DA hasn’t made any suggestion that he’s in the buyer’s market this season. Is B/R just grabbing this stuff out of thin air?
That's what Bleacher Report does.
