• How many players do we have that are better than Tec? I say 6 at least.
• How many 3&D wing defenders are there who are better than Tec? I say he is maybe fringe top 20.

Im not a fan of this trade either, but its not causing me massive FOMO. We can EASILY upgrade on his role.

Lets pass the final judgement on trading away the 7th best player in a .500 team after we see if there are other moves.

He started 40 games for a non playoff team. How many other teams would he be starting for? Maybe 5?

Dude, I'm not going to take a canvas of all the teams with money and then canvas all the upcoming free agent class just to come up with informed predictions on free agency offers. That isnt fun or interesting to me. I think Simone is worth 15 million dollars per year. THat's what I said. Stop being stupid. Very true but there are some who have. Jokic, Millsap, Mark Eaton was a 4th round pick. Here are some others. The percentages are against you but there is talent especially at the top of the 2nd round.

A guy who can give you 14 pts/36 mins on 60% TS while spacing the floor and being a positive on the defensive end would start on a lot of teams.
