I mean the final thing for me today would be if we made a solid JC trade. At very least he will start playing good again maybe with the deadline passing. If this is all there is then I think its fairly successful. I know people will be confused by it but they shouldn't.

The nice part about moving JC is that it would finally make the front offices direction crystal clear when it comes to long term goals as well as what they think of this draft. At this point we are still very borderline when it comes to keeping our pick.

Sir... its crystal clear. They may not want to keep the pick as much as we think maybe... but they don't care about making the play in at all. They are not charting a course to make sure this obligation is taken care of. They kicked the can down the road.

Now none of this is criticism. I think it may be smart. I just think it is clear for now what they are prioritizing.

Tbh... that Memphis-Nets-Suns 3 team deal might be the most complex fringe deal I've ever seen.

Thats like 7 players in the deal with seconds and swaps involved.

People will be confused by it because it makes so little sense. Tony is saying it is for something big this summer but IMO that is just making something up to try and explain it. Every very good team needs players that do exactly what KO and Tech do and we will be lucky if anything we got from these trades materializes into anything.
