2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Reed Sheppard putting on a clinic tonight vs Miss State. I think he has to be in the conversation for top 10.

Also, the frosh, Hubbard, for Miss State is pretty special. Going to be a great college player for a long time. From a NBA standpoint, it's a shame he isn't about four inches taller.
Definitely a future IT

Jazz are going to have to look at this draft class and make a bet on who is going to really develop once they get in the league. Is it Ron Holland? Is it Tidjane Salaun? Is it Tyler Smith? Is it Johnny Furphy?

I think the most polished scorer among these four right now is Smith. The most dynamic athlete is Holland. Salaun, Furphy and Smith can all shoot.

The one who is most likely to put it all together to become the most dynamic player is probably Salaun.

Would it be wild for me to have Sheppard at #1 on my big board?
Yeah, its wild. Not that you have no chance of being right, but he's a 6'2 guard who might have a neutral or negative wingspan.

I would love to take him. It would just be such an obvious "Sexton is not going to be here" long term draft pick that you would basically have to move Sexton ASAP to maximize his value.

It might be.

Is there a good comp for Reed? I'm struggling to come up with one. He's really unique in my mind, which could mean he's going to be special in the NBA. Or it could mean what he is doing won't work in the NBA.
I thought a lot about it. The closest comp I have is Lebron James but with better shooting.
