So you like Pate solely based on the fact you've seen mock drafts in 2025 with him in the back end of the lottery?

No, I like what I’ve seen coupled with his age. Seems like you don’t like him based on the fact he was the 30th ranked prospect totally ignoring the fact he graduated a year early.

Unless someone can link to prove otherwise, Dink was never a top 20 guy in any class. He was 30th in the current class.

I'm not seeing any sort of accomplishments that stand out. No experience in international competition from what I can tell. Didnt have an outstanding High School career.

There just isnt enough there to warrant him going top 10 in any kind of draft, no matter how weak. I hope it works out for him, but this dude skipped so many steps I'm worried he stunted his growth.

From the little I've seen those ignite players feel like they were skipping a level already.
 
I don't know enough about him to really know what I think. If he is a top 5-10 guy in this draft it is helpful to us in either pushing someone else we like down or if we like this guy we take him.

Thus ends my Dink Analysis.

He was labeled "immature," but honestly that should be par for the course. GG passed Zaire Williams in the Grizzlies' rotation. He should be getting some playing time going forward, even when the Grizz reassemble.
 
I know he's a year younger...but what exactly has Dink Pate done to potentially be a number one consensus guy? Cool name I guess.
