What I mean is if the jazz aren’t bringing in draft able players maybe they have a deal being discussed or they plan on trading their picks for a big name.
Knecht is the guy who I don’t want to pick. I think he’ll be a fine player, but I’m not really buying the shot creation stuff. I think he will be a good, high volume shooter but I don’t see as much upside potential. I think Sandfort is a much better value at 29. Sandfort might not last that long though.

I think this upcoming collegiate season is the last year for the extended covid eligibility.
It does feel like college players can play forever though.
OK, it was somewhat difficult to find, but it does appear that the 2020/2021 freshman class (Sears) was the last to receive the extra year of eligibility. Technically, if someone redshirted at some point, they will still have an extra year, but for the majority of that class and the class after them, they will lose eligibility at the same time.
This means the 2025 draft and to a smaller degree the 2026 draft should be even deeper than normal since more players will lose eligibility at the same time. It could be worth investing in some 2025/2026 second round picks.
