I'd eliminate anyone 30 or over off the bat. That's been a pretty consistent message. They trade anyone approaching 30 or over.
I think Brandon Ingram is the name I like the most. He really just needs to be coached a bit stricter. No idea why/how he went from a quality highish volume 3pt shooter to a guy who wants to be a Derozany type. Does he want to play that way? Was he coached that way? Does he do that because his PG went from Lonzo Ball to CJ McCollum?
I'm just terrified of the Utah tax on his next contract. He's not a 3rd contract max caliber player, but he/his agent are going to absolutely get everything they can out of Utah if they trade for him.
Mildly interested in LaVine, but he's bumping up against 30 and not the most consistent health wise
I also still have interest in Trae just because I think he's a potential top 5 offensive player who might have the current biggest gap between his actual value and his value around the NBA because so many people hate Trae Young and blame the Hawks failures on him. Feel like it has to be a 3-team deal because no way the Hawks take back John Collins?
I'm not pro-tank, but I think I am pro "stay the course" of doing what we've been doing the last two years. Would like another year to see who proves themselves among whoever we draft this year, Keyonte, Brice, Kessler and Hendricks while trying to prop up our existing expendable vets (JC^2) for trade value.
