Woj just went on ESPN and said the Warriors have switched gears and are aggressively targeting Markannen.
It will be interesting to see how big of a destination they will be going forward with Curry entering his twilight years. Right now I would put money on them fading as a destination franchise over the next few years.Golden State is a destination franchise with a lot of money. I would like their unprotected picks, but I think they have a much better shot at being a solid team for years rather than the Hawks picks we could get from the Spurs. I appreciate Golden State for being a team that raises the bidding offers, but I dont see them as being a serious team for Lauri.
Pretty major hitch to rely on that 3rd party if they are being greedy/crazy. If they are being reasonable, then replacing the value of a top-20 protected pick or 2nd shouldn’t be difficult. But it is nonetheless a big swing variable.Just kind of funny to me people think there is this big blockbuster deal that hinges on the Warriors getting the Wizards to agree to something. What's preventing the Wizards from demanding such a big price on that were it becomes unattainable? It's going to be hard enough to get two teams to agree to such a big deal.
Brother, if they don’t play ball we get swaps in 25/27/29/31 and picks in 26/28/30. The 2030 pick would just be protected 21-30.Just kind of funny to me people think there is this big blockbuster deal that hinges on the Warriors getting the Wizards to agree to something. Unless San Francisco has teleported to Nebraska I think they are safe.It will be interesting to see how big of a destination they will be going forward with Curry entering his twilight years. Right now I would put money on them fading as a destination franchise over the next few years.
