Yeah that sounds more impressive than it is any more, considering the amount of international talent in the NBA and the fact that we have seen a team headlined by LBJ and Wade go down in spectacular fashion.
Even just last year we failed to come away with anything of note in a stretch in which we continue to get soundly beaten by international competition. Remains to be seen where this team this year will end up.

Strange how if the superstars don't get the superstar treatment and have to work for it, they aren't quite as successful. Yes yes, there is more to it than that, but to watch some of these games you can see it in their body language that they are just used to getting the ******** calls that gift them points and advantage and when those dry up, it has an impact.

Embiid is really really good but watching him play it just seems like he way older than he is. I can't see him being very good in 3 years.

Yeah he definitely looks more worn than he should at his age. Lots of injuries as well, so while I think he will likely still be good in 3 years (barring a devastating injury), I dont think he will be MVP good at that point anymore.
