What's new

Anyone see the look on KOC's face after Harris missing those free throws?

I disagree. We missed Al, if Al had played the defense wouldn't have been able to key on Millsap alone. Millsap wasn't passing out of double teams much and forced some bad shots. Al wasn't there to man the post, so there weren't many open shots to be had. I yelled at the tv screen during the two overtimes for Corbin to put in Miles as crazy as that sounds. Other than Millsap he is the one guy that can create his own shot. Bell and Hayward aren't guys that can create space to shoot a jumper. Cj could've taken some pressure off Millsap as the other team would've had to pay attention to him as he was having a good game.

The whole point of having an offense is so guys don't have to create their own shots. Towards crunch time, they ran through the motions but there were so many passes that the wings didn't make that they should have...but they seemed too afraid.

But I agree about missing Al. He commands a double team whereas most defenders think that they can take Milsap one on one because of his size.
I dunno about CJ...this year he's made some crazy stupid fouls when the game is on the line

With Big Al out the offense wasn't working. If Miles was in the game Ty could've adjusted the Offense to get Millsap better opportunities and open outside shots for the rest of the team. Miles would've been a threat to drive or create space to get off an open outside shot. I never said give Cj the ball and let him be Kobe or anything. The point was the threat would be there.

Other than Michael Jordan, name a better player in the 90s than Karl Malone. In the entire decade of the 90s, who should we have traded Malone for to win a title?

Wow that really would be a struggle. Maybe Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaq, David Robinson, or at the end of the 90s maybe Tim Duncan or Kobe. I don't even think Barkley.

It's not uncommon for guys who play hard on defense to miss more than the "normal" amount of FT's; tired legs... Without Harris's FG's, we'd have never gotten to OT...
