Is there a Trump thread or can I post stuff on here about him too?

He just recently said he would like more than 6 weeks as the maximum time for an abortion. The overwhelming response to that from I’m assuming the MAGA crowd in Florida was turning on him and saying DeSantis should publicly out him.

Same thing with Kyle Rittenhouse. They defended him until death until he said something bad about Trump then they wanted him put in jail.

So there is a large contingent of the MAGA crowd that is unhinged with this type of stuff it seems. That is one thing I really dislike about it all. The far extreme MAGA people are so over the top it’s scary.

It's even more weird to lie about being on a helicopter with someone that had to make an emergency landing when the person you say was with you wasn't with you and the helicopter didn't have to make an emergency landing.

What is to be gained from that lie?

I have no clue and have no clue who said that but that sounds like some kind of whataboutism to me honestly.

I also think it’s very weird when people make a presidential nominee their entire personality and life. Like clothing, shoes, etc. Then continue on when they aren’t president for years.

Considering that employers are only required to keep employment records for a few years, and considering this was back in the 80's, I'd be pretty shocked if they did.
My company (healthcare field) has to keep records of on the job injuries for 30 years. That's longer than normal employment records (I think that's 7 years).

What kind of healthcare do you work in? I work in healthcare myself.

Social media isn't real life. Just because you can find something on Twitter, or an article published in the media about a source, or sources, that are all online, doesn't mean any of it is real. There are nutjobs out there but there have always been nutjobs. This difference now is the voices of those outlier nutjobs are being selectively amplified by actors sewing division and hate for their own purposes and often for pay.

I know some MAGA nut jobs in real life. These people aren’t actors on Twitter and they get hundreds and thousands of likes on these comments. It’s ok to admit that there is part of the MAGA crowd that are over the top.

Those aren't real either. The going rate is around a penny per like but there are volume discounts if you're going over 2,500 likes. 10,000 likes will set you back $60.
