Just heard the Hendricks news, man sports suck sometimes.

He was the one guy I was most excited to watch develop this season.

Yeah, but if you watched the game, saw how dependent the Jazz were on Keyonte to force action, and saw how aggressively the Mavs' were guarding, it makes sense. The problem is that Key is being asked to create offense for everyone. The Jazz have a floor full of people who need to be set up. Lauri, Walker, Hendricks, Collins, etc.--none of them can create for themselves.

That's why sexton was only 9-11 with 23 points. (Only 27 minutes)

But he was very inefficient in college and he was very inefficient last season and he has been very inefficient this season.
And his defense is poor. And his assist to turnover ratio is poor. It is what it is. He is simply a player who looks like he could/should be good someday. That's about it right now

Sexton the last two years has lowkey been a ridiculously efficient scorer. He's amazing.

Sexton is good. He was our best scorer tonight. He's not a natural distributor though. He had 2 assists total, despite having high usage. Sexton defers to Keyonte to initiate the offense.

Are you trying to say that if keyonte and Sexton switched roles then keyonte would be efficient?

I'm saying Keyonte is being tasked with running the offense and setting guys up, while Sexton isn't asked to do those things nearly as much. Sexton is considered a 2-guard.

I'm saying keyonte is, and always has been, inefficient in every role he has been in at the college and pro level. Regardless of role, teammates, opponents. You can provide all kinds of reasons for it and that's fine, but it still remains true.
Eventually, either the ball needs to go on the hoop more frequently, or he needs to shoot less, or he needs to set his teammates up better, or he needs to turn the ball over less. Or some combination of those things.

If none of those things happen then it's a problem

Watching Flip was nice. He plays big. He's kind of got that d**kh**d personality that the Jazz were missing.

We can try run some King's Sabonis play for him and see what we've got. So far I'm not sold on any of our backcourt guys running the offense. Absolute **** show

Hoping that this is one of those injuries that looks gruesome but not that bad to recover from. 4-6 months isn’t as horrible as it looked.
