He was very good.
He was very good.
And then you go too far.IDK about over Demin yet, but to me Kasparas is better than Harper
Is the 2024 NCAAB freshman class abnormally productive this year? I dont always follow this closely, but it feels like it is.
I'm sure once conference play starts the production might taper off.
IDK, he's just hyper skilled in a way no one else in this class is. It's extremely rare to see a Euro make the European to College transition so seamlessly with having no American HS experience. And then you go too far.
I strongly disagree on the defense part, but I'm mostly going off of the Cashiggy videos, so maybe I'm not seeing enough.IDK, he's just hyper skilled in a way no one else in this class is. He's got great PG size. He's got elite shooting. Elite passing. Elite rebounder. He has over a 50% 3pt rate and over a 50% FTR. He's shown to be a better defender than Harper so far this season. He's playing well against the good teams he faces. He's crafty as hell. He's a true PG and one who could probably stand to shoot the ball a lot more than he does, but he likes to playmake and set others up. Only knock on him is he isnt a high level athlete.
I dont think Leif is that far off when he called him College Doncic.
I have been thinking about this as well. I don’t know if I’m tripping but I’d be very happy to end up with like 4-5 guys at the moment.I've been thinking about this, and still not sure how this Freshman class compares to previous ones, but it's obviously very good.
I think the answer why is obviously NIL. You don't see guys going alternative routes as much any more, and it feels like more of the top Europeans are coming here to play college ball.
The other factor, I'm not sure about, is if we have less of the 5 and 6 year guys playing now? I believe the Covid exceptions are done now, but not sure?
I could see that. This is the kind of player I'm assuming will probably stay for their 2nd year that will make the 2026 class stronger.
