I think the top of the draft for me is still like this...

Flagg
Harper
Bailey
Demin
Johnson
Edgecombe
Kasparas
Traore
...Then it gets fuzzy for me. There are guys with things I like, but they have question marks.

Khaman Maluach is worth drafting as a development project, but it would need to be in the 2nd half of the 1st round. His lack of assists and steals are frightening.

Shooters like Knueppel, McNeeley, and Riley look like nice depth pieces.

If Collin Murray-Boyles can shoot, he becomes a very valuable player. Same would be said for Adou Thiero, but in his case he'd have a hard time getting on the floor if he doesn't shoot.

Overall, I think it's a pretty strong class for guards, with guys like Boogie Fland, Ian Jackson, Ben Saraf, Labaron Philon, Drake Powell, Josan Sanon, even Dink Pate, offering value all throughout the 1st round.

I think Drake Powell is underexposed at UNC. He's getting limited minutes and even more limited touches. If he was one of the main guys at another program, I think more people would be talking about him. He can beat guys and get to the rim more than he's shown so far, and he's a solid defender. I would target him probably in the late teens.

I like what I see when Powell is doing stuff, but it's just too infrequent for me to get excited about it.

What does CMB do better than Thomas Sorber?

CMB just doesnt have to shoot it, he has to shoot it really well and with good frequency to really be a NBA player.

Sorber has a lot of the same skill set but he's bigger. He has Wendell Carter type size and game.

Any guesses on VJ's vert? He might no have consistent production, but he consistently makes highlight plays. Wow!

Terrible offensive prospect but a great athlete. If he was like a legit 6'5 it'd be a bit more tempting to put him top 5, but he isnt.

Just hard to really project his defense having a high enough ceiling with his frame/size to protect against the risk of him being a negative offensively. I think he'd be a great late lottery pick, but as a top 10 it's concerning.

Sorber vs CMB advanced stats so far.
Georgetown Schedule vs South Carolina Schedule:

Georgetown: Lehigh, Fairfield, Notre Dame, Mount St. Mary's, ST. Francis, Wagner, University at Albany, UMBC, West Virginia
South Carolina: North Florida, ST. Carolina St., Towson, Indiana, Mercer, Xavier, Virginia Tech, Boston College, East Carolina

Sorber very well might be a much better prospect than CMB, but let's at least wait until they get maybe half way through the conference play before comparing advanced stats.

CMB just doesnt have the size to be a good NBA player and Sorber does. I feel extremely comfortable putting Sorber ahead of CMB for the rest of the season. CMB might be worth a flier with the Cavs pick, but I wouldnt consider him in the early 20's.

I think CMB was an interesting prospect coming in, but he really had to have a massive leap to be a 1st round prospect and he just hasnt had that leap.
