Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

Trump invited Xi (chinas leader) to his inauguration. Kinda weird but whatever.

He probably wants to ask him dictator questions in person so he can really hit the ground running on day 1.

Oh my God.

Seriously? Hopefully enough people still believe in science enough to block this ********. Those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Or ****ing stupid enough to ignore it. Good hell.

And yet, Garland was too lame in the brain(?), to factor in appeals by Trump, that would not allow the prosecutions to proceed before the 2024 election season. Garland thought: “I’ll wait, until there is not a snowball’s chance in Hades that any trials will precede the 2024 election”. Because, filing earlier, and getting a conviction, that would not influence the 2024 election?
Correct. When there is a conviction, that stops the flow of stories. They wanted the appeals so they could retell the crimes when reporting the appeals, keep these old stories fresh in front of everyone throughout the election. The problem was they were old stories that everyone had already heard and everyone tuned out. Nobody cared. It was 2024 and there was a new election. What happened years ago was less interesting than sharp-as-a-tack Biden making a fresh claim of finally beating Medicare followed by the democrats cancelling democracy to install someone who wouldn't give interviews. Shocker! The 2024 election ended up being about 2024 instead of 2020.

It doesn't deserve mention. It is a Monmouth Poll. That is like being shocked CNN didn't run with nonstop coverage of Bat Boy escaping after being published in Weekly World News.

Do you remember this epic Monmouth Poll showing 92% of Democrats being enthusiastic to vote for Kamala? The DNC didn't need to do a primary and there was virtually no concern over Kamala switching nearly ever position she ever made and not giving any interviews. Kamala not only had 92% support, but 92% enthusiastic support which was higher than the support Trump supporters had for Trump. Kamala supporters were more rabid in their support. They were driving about in their Toyota Priuses (Priui?) with giant Kamala flags proudly waving from flagpoles mounted in the hatchback.

Shocking how stupid so much of America is. Wow. That'll be our downfall in the end, billionaire worship and the stupidity of the populace.
There is no possibility of consensus. And the side that is winning in the post facts / post reality world we're living in is the side that embraces it and tells the most entertaining lies.

Before he won the election it was very easy for him to lower prices.
Winning the election made it away harder for some reason

Cultists don't care, they'll still eat the peanuts out of his ****. He is impervious to reality, truth and common sense. However the system itself has to carry some of the blame for allowing someone like him to emerge and appeal to people alienation from the political system. Corporate capitalism is killing people, Trump has no answers but he's willing to say that the system doesn't work for people. He wont fix it, he'll likely make it worse and they'll love him for it.

You’re entitled to your opinion, but a nation that can return to office a president who attempted to prevent transfer of power to the actual winner of the 2020 election, despite all evidence, from every state, noting how well the election was run, again, in every state, then the supporters of that president can, and likely will, approve many of his decisions. In any Western democracy, a healthy % of citizenry are partial, likely very partial, to authoritarian leaders. Of course many Trump supporters would approve of unconstitutional actions by Trump. I think you fail to understand his hold on the minds and hearts of all those folks who voted for him.

I don’t know why you think people who want Trump only want a Trump who believes in the rule of law. Donald Trump has no respect for the rule of law, and he does not believe it applies to him. A great many of his most fervent followers will agree. I’m sure they agree it’s “the enemy within” that we need worry about. It’s the people who do not support Trump, do not agree with his Big Lie, who are America’s #1 enemy. Remember? That’s Donald Trump himself saying that! Remember? Was he just kidding? Must own that enemy. Perhaps we must violate the constitution to save the country. In Vietnam, we had to “destroy the village to save it”. You need to understand who our greatest enemies are. According to Trump, it’s folks like me. I am an enemy of the United States. And many, not all,of his followers will stop at nothing to own and punish that enemy, their fellow citizens who actually respect the Rule of Law. A man who trashes the rule of law, labels his own citizenry “the enemy within” and this guy is going to respect our constitution. lol, when is he going to start doing that?
