I don't believe this is really feasible but if you can, you abso****inglutely do it.

Morrow's numbers are inflated because he plays for a team where garbage time starts around the 9 minute mark of the 3rd period.

He's not that good and has a zero bball IQ.

The evil you know is better than the evil you don't know.

Morrow is a bona fide MLE player that brings something to the team that they simply do not have anywhere. Morrow has sniped with consistency the second he entered the league. He'd be under contract for a while and in that situation (a young, consistent player), you've found value.

Miles' situation, on the other hand, is kind of a dead-end. As far as my opinion goes, he'll have to have a hell of a year for me to buy in to keeping him around, and if that happens, he's going to eat up cap space that I'd simply rather not spend on a guy that has done little more than flirt with all of us for six years. So it's either spend heavily and it possibly be a massive mistake, or he just goes back to trash and the Jazz get nothing back for him.

Clear as day decision in my mind.

What else do you need?

A different perspective? The thought that someone could out chuck Chucker just doesn't feel right. Sort of like if the Soviets had won the cold war and there was a USSR flag at ESA instead. Bizzaro world, my friend.

CJ's a better player than Morrow but that's neither here nor there. The problem with this hypothetical deal is it leaves the Jazz with 3 2 guards on the roster for next year in Burks/Morrow/Bell, and none of them can play 3. So KOC would have to sign a backup 3, and then effectively carry 6 wings in case of injury.

One other thing, if you take on Morrow with the TPE, you now have six wings trying to get minutes. As it is - with one less player than that - there's always going to be someone practically frozen out of the rotation if everyone's healthy (enough).

Legit concern. To get one of the pieces you desperately need, you get it and figure the rest out later.
