LA Clippers Lob City vs. Utah Jazz Swat Lake City, Wed. 8:30 MT ESPN

Clippers have alot of momentum and will be motivated after the dunkfest that went down last time they came to ESA. It wasn't just CP3 sitting out, you could tell the Jan 17th game was almost a throw-away game for most of LA's regulars (middle of a back-to-back-to-back). We'll see an entirely different Clippers team tonight, and this will be an excellent litmus test to see how Utah stacks up against some of the better teams in the West.

(I don't count NBATV as National TV btw)
This, nbatv doesn't use their own announcers, they don't alter tip times, and they aren't a staple of all regular cable packages.

Players know beforehand if their game is being televised on TNT or ESPN. I doubt they give a damn if they'll be on nbatv. The NBA on TNT is averaging 10x the viewership of nbatv. Just more exposure and buzz associated with TNT and espn. No prestige whatsoever about playing on nbatv.

We pushed it back an hour to accommodate ESPN.

You do not have to miss the beginning of the Jazz game though. When Jazz games are on ESPN they are still on the regular channel they come on. TNT does not allow this unfortunately.

Edit: Per vslice02 - Correct, if you're a Utah local you should still be able to watch the Root Sports telecast. If you watch on NBA League Pass (as I do), ESPN is the only available broadcast

repped with a special message

Butler out:

Brian T. Smith @tribjazz
"Caron Butler (lower back) out for Clippers. Late scratch."

Will be interesting how we handle the pick and roll tonight. If we slide under and allow Paul to shoot or if they fight through and let him have a lane toward the basket.
