Clippers have alot of momentum and will be motivated after the dunkfest that went down last time they came to ESA. It wasn't just CP3 sitting out, you could tell the Jan 17th game was almost a throw-away game for most of LA's regulars (middle of a back-to-back-to-back). We'll see an entirely different Clippers team tonight, and this will be an excellent litmus test to see how Utah stacks up against some of the better teams in the West.
Players know beforehand if their game is being televised on TNT or ESPN. I doubt they give a damn if they'll be on nbatv. The NBA on TNT is averaging 10x the viewership of nbatv. Just more exposure and buzz associated with TNT and espn. No prestige whatsoever about playing on nbatv.
This, nbatv doesn't use their own announcers, they don't alter tip times, and they aren't a staple of all regular cable packages.(I don't count NBATV as National TV btw)
