Minny & Cavs 2025 picks watch thread

The Kings have been trending up since adding Lavine. The Wulves have lost 6 of their last 8. Mostly due to injuries. They have still managed to beat some tough teams and they have one of the easiest SOS remaining so they most likely rise in the rankings but how many come to Jesus talks do they need?

As long as Gobert is out they will have random struggles against anyone. They probably get healthy for the final stretch, and that should get them enough wins to finish 7th/8th, but fingers crossed. This last stretch of games went about as good as we could have hoped. They won two shockers vs OKC, but they lost all the other hard games.

I doubt the suns can hold on to the lead

Edwards is so freaking good.

No idea how the Suns can only score 98 points against the Wolves with Randle on the court without Gobert. Insane stuff.

I would be absolutely despicable down the stretch for every game except the next Timberwolves game and go kitchen sink on winning that one. I think being in the 7/8 or 9/10 is going to determine if they make it or not and 9 is very much possible.

The suns are a dumpster fire. They went from one of the best teams in the NBA at the start of the year to probably the worst non-tanking team at least in the West.

TBH I'm pretty happy about how their season has turned around. I've never liked the idea of team building by obtaining a superstar and the rest of the team is easy to fill in the gaps. At the start of the year it appeared that the Suns were getting away with just having Kevin Durant and being able to pick up guys like Tyus Jones for the minimum. Now it looks like they are going to have to tear things down.

It is a bad year for fans who think having “hoopers” is the end-all be-all in building a winning team.
