As takes go, that's a lot more rational than falling in love with Kon "I'm a slower, smaller Adam Morrison" Knueppel.

Dame Sarr got the start in Euroleague today but only played 8 minutes. It seems like he’s going to Illinois (that was the plan last year from what I’ve read) but you have to think that a first round promise could be enticing. From random reddit comments that surely know what they’re talking about it seems like he’s been vocal about getting to the NBA asap.

If the late first round dries up because of NIL/Portal, I want this guy. There’s still a lot of time left in his season so he could still move up or it can become more clear that he will go to NCAA.

Harper is very clearly the number 2 prospect in this draft. He would be a great fit for Utah.

It seems like there are more than a handful of overseas guys that are being taken up by NIL as well. At some point everyone will run out of eligibility, but until then I expect the second round and maybe even late first round to be very weak.

My top-6 are locked unless something crazy happens in the pre-draft process.

1 - Flagg
2 - Harper
3 - Bailey
4 - Edgecomb
5 - Johnson
6 - Jakucionas

I would probably put VJ higher, but compensating for being undersized with bonkers athleticism is not sustainable and I’m not a fan of it. I think his anthro measurements are going to suck. Bailey could suck or he could end up the best player in this draft or anything in-between. I feel comfortable swinging on that pitch if we get the 3rd pick.

I think it should be Tre Johnson, but in practice it could be a bit more iffy. Some people like Queen, Maluach, Knueppel...

I think you gotta take the upside swing on Bailey at 3.

I personally like Queen at 5. But you’ll have to use him as an offensive hub. He’s not a spoke I.e. stretch big or rolling dunker. No ceilings mentioned they think he’s a better defender than being given credit. Said he’s solid in the cat and mouse game of pick and roll and knows how to play drop coverage.
