Don't think it's insane to think Charlotte might want Lauri for #4. They've been bad for a while.

Ball/Miller/Bridges/Lauri/Williams is a great starting 5.

Nurkic/Grant Williams/Okojie works straight up for Lauri.

So we’d have the #4 pick, #5 pick, Keyonte, Collier, Williams, Hendricks, Sensabaugh…I feel like the chickens would rule the hen house and don’t feel Hardy’s the man to bring out the best with that abundance of youth.

And fwiw, I’m not opposed to this. I just don’t think it would end well.

i like the way you're thinking and this would be such a great get if we could do that. i would be open to trading Lauri for that pick... i'm sure there could be some other assets involved, but this would also be on the Embid timeline...

the more i think about it, the more i go hard after #2 with Lauri+#21...

i get it. idk if i would or not as Fox is already proven... however, i'd have the conversation with both Spurs and 76ers to see... we could make a pretty nice offer....

Yeah, they could get s really nice asset for the mystery box. There is no guarantee that Harper hits like everyone thinks.

I wonder if the Bucks trade Giannis what their desire to try and stay competitive in a weak east is? I'm not great at trade scenarios and would be sure there would be more picks involved but what about something like this? Bucks get off of bad money while getting ready made players, Spurs get their star next to Wemby, Jazz get the 2nd pick while keeping 5.

Bucks would probably need another pick, a better pick, or another cornerstone young player - but that is not a crazy proposal. As it stands, if Fox agreed to an extension, Fox + Lauri is a nice duo to build around. but it's not crazy. If Fox agreed to an extension, that's a nice duo to build around.

The upside is we could avoid the $100K+ fines in our tank pursuit next season. Don't think that roster could win 20 games if it actually tried.
