What do you think of Kasparas Jakucionis?

IDK, on the surface yes Kas is a better athlete, but the defensive stuff tells me Kon has more "functional" athleticism.
Kas was a much better rebounder and about the same on stocks. I'm not sure what defensive stuff you are referring to, but for any advanced numbers you have to take in to consideration that Kon played next to great defenders and played against worse players than Kas.

Kas is a better functional athlete, I'm pretty comfortable with that take.

Like I would feel better about him than Fears... wouldn't surprise me if either guy all of a sudden pops in the right situation and I'm sad.

I've been trying to make the case for Fears because it seems like he's a real option and he's not as discussed....but I've really just come away with the conclusion that Kas is the prospect I prefer. Fears is way quicker and has a much tighter handle and maybe that means better translation. I just believe in Kas's shot, BBIQ, and passing much more.

I mean, Kas was on a loaded team with great defenders as well.

I am not a big draft analyst but I like Kasparas Jakucionis more than anyone being projected at #5 and want to know what others think.

I think he has a good aggression, playmaking, and shooting skills. I think he is going to be much better in the NBA game with spaced floors and foul calls. I think he is will be a star and is the type of player you can win championships with because he will make others better.

I would probably have him #3 on my board. Thoughts? Where would you take him?

I'm still trying to figure out what his elite skill is. He might be a big guard who can do a bunch of things pretty well, but isn't elite at any one thing, maybe like Podziemsky.

Not saying they were, but they were still a very good and deep team with a stretch 5 who could rim protect.
You are just saying stuff to say stuff then.

My point was any comparison of Kas's and Kon's advanced defensive numbers should take in to consideration that Kon played with better defenders and against worse competition. I don't think you would disagree with that.

To be honest, I'm still not sure what you mean by Kon's defensive stuff, so maybe my comment isn't relevant.

Well you brought up rebounding, but we arent going to act like it's harder to stack rebounding numbers on Duke vs Illinois?

Kon just moves his feet better on defense. He can wall up and stay with players. Kas is a traffic cone.
