Game Thread: Utah Jazz @ NY Knicks 2/6/12, 5:30 MST

How about the foul they called on Kanter. He has the ball at the top of the key being hounded, then he turns and they call and offensive foul as the knick player flops> I don't even think there was any contact, and that was when the game was still close but the knicks were starting to pull ahead.

That is how refs can do it. Just call some bad calls like that to screw a team as the other team is making a run. Give them a helpful push.

If you read the book by the gambling ref, he explains in detail how Bavetta is the best at doing that.

Yeah that was really ticky-tacky. He did extend his arms though and pushed him out as Tyson was playing good D on him.

so, no anthony, stoudamire and chandler being in foul trouble. we lost against this kind of a knicks team as well as to teams like the raptors. no way we are a playoff team and looks like our front office is not ready to upgrade the point guard position. our pg, sg and sf are not starter caliber players in this league!

Teams tend to rally together under those circumstances to surprise teams. Compound onto that the emotional charge Stoudemaire's loss had on the team, combined with the Superbowl victory, and Lin's emergence; it's not that surprising.

This has nothing to do with whether or not the Jazz have ever been a good road team.

The Jazz were playing a D-League team tonight. Not a bad NBA team, but a D-League team. There isn't a single Knick outside of Melo and Amare who could start on an NBA team with a winning record, and some of them couldn't start on an NCAA tournament team. And to make things worse, there is no one to hold the players responsible for this kind of thing. Larry H. is dead and Sloan is driving a tractor on a farm somewhere.

do you think that harris, bell and hayward can start on any team in this league?

Ok, I would love to get a better pg, but who? Who is gonna give us a better pg? Or is there a better one just waiting to be signed?

I think Novak was the x-factor. All he can do is shoot open J's and the jazz were happy to accomidate him.
