I could see that maybe... Embiid has a little bit of the post stuff. Hakeem was just so dominant on both ends and just made all the right passes. I think Jokic is ironically the closest comp on offense.

You can use white comps all you want... if you feel a need to use it as a qualifier then you just aren't looking deep enough.

I mean if the guy brings up dudes that are 60+ or dead and asks me to comp them to players I am going to pull more modern examples and they will all be "more bouncy". Harden is not particularly quick or vertical. Makes his money on skill, strength, balance, passing/processing and foul baiting. Just like Luka does.
 
Also - Here is a list of some of the most unique players... go find comps for them... its dumb and I'm out.

Just heard Givony comp Kon to Klay... he must not know the rules.
 
I have Kon like a sliver ahead of Tre, but for funzies I'm taking the Kon pill from now to the draft. My tiers are clear at this point:

The white guy thing is a funny joke until you realize that it's actually the most important thing to some lol. Can't wait for that skin tone filter on Bart to come out, it will revolutionize the scouting game.

I have no idea. There have been thousands of players who have played in the NBA since the 3pt line was implemented, but I don't know how far back they go.

I don't think it's gospel or trust the projections completely, but I think it's a decent all in number that when I did some digging was acceptably predictable for how I try and use it.

If we can sneak in the back end of the lotto and get him that would be great.

I mean it was the first qualifier in the convo that started this whole thing and we got a guy saying to give white comps for black players... It seems to be super high up on the list for some.

I've gotta listen to this pod. Last year's pod was one of the few times I felt like Givony was letting loose with his real opinions. I totally underestand the flaws with Kas and why he may have dropped...but I think he's gone too far and I really can't shake the idea that he should at least be compared with the guys we're talking about at #5. Would love to trade for him in the late lotto.

He played very little off the ball in NCAA, and it seems as though he's always been this way. But I also think he has the shooting/intangibles to play off the ball. He's an imperfect prospect for sure, but if he isn't able to solve his turnover issues I think moving off the ball will mitigate those concerns and he can become a decent role player. The guys I think of are guys like Dinwiddie and Reaves. Could also compare him to a smarter Keyonte/DLO.
