In previous years it always seemed like the "vets"(second and third year players) would play the first 2 or 3 games and then they would sit so the rookies and players fighting for actual roster spots can play...

I'm just wondering if we'll see the cap space move happen sooner rather than later. If they didn't have anything cooking yet, might as well have him play in the meantime.

Yeah, I did find it strange he didn't play in the 2nd game. Feels like another Bailey/Lofton situation. I really see no potential in Springer.
