Following Potential 2025 Draftees

That wasn't my final big board.

Also, taking anything from a few summer league games is pretty dumb.

Also, I'm very happy and quick to admit my Ls, so if Kas end up a bust I'll be good.
I don’t think great games in Summer League mean much, but I think REALLY BAD gameS probably do. Kas might be cooked.

I’m saying this as a pretty loud member of the Kas Klub and will take my lumps if that’s where this is headed.

I've heard that from NBA guys, but don't think it's true. There are lots of examples of guys that didn't play well in summer league and ended up as good players.

It doesn't even make logical sense either. There are a ton of reasons for someone to struggle that have nothing to do with future potential.

Ya I mean very recently people have been posting examples of guys who played really bad in SL who ended up being very good players.
Deron Williams and Kevin Durant were 2 who were recently mentioned and they turned out pretty good.

Summer league means absolutely nothing.

Seems like the Jazz were pretty keyed in on WCJ, but Beringer went one pick before ours after the trade. He's likely going to be a starter. Whereas, I'm not sure WCJ is.

I think the Twolves are now ready to move Rudy and get similar production from a younger, more cost-effective big. They put Rudy in their trade proposal for Durant this summer.

Maybe in 2 years, a year at the earliest, but Beringer isn't ready yet to be a starter

Is it wild overreaction to delcare Dillingham a bust already?

It's just awfully hard to make plays as someone that small. Everything is hard, while bigger dudes get to make easy plays. I think you're going to continue to see a trend where lead guards are all 6'4"+, preferably 6'6" in shoes.
