Just curious, does anyone here ever go to Swiss Days in Midway? For our family it's been something of an annual tradition. My wife and I are planning on going this year, it's the weekend before Labor Day, so August 29th and 30th. My son in laws family own a ton of property up there and they handle much of the parking. It's how they sent nearly all their boys on missions, lol. Anyway, anyone else ever go?

I don't think so. Is not the thing with the border collies herding sheep is it? I have gone to that a few times but can't remember what it's called

No this is more like some of the other communities do, with food and a bunch of craft booths and some carnival type games, stuff like that.. Mostly it's kind of become a huge craft fair. There are some really interesting offerings though. And the food is always good. I think the local church still does a pancake breakfast if you get there early enough as a fundraiser.

Anyway, I recommend it. It is a fun diversion if you don't have any other plans that weekend, or want to do something different before going out of town or whatever. The food is always good and reasonably priced, and the crafts are eclectic and interesting and the games and such are fun for the kids. We enjoy it. Let me know if anyone plans on going and we can plan to say "hey" or whatever.
