So what was he doing there and why did he confess?
No idea. I don't think he actually officially confessed. But the video does clearly show the shot coming from behind and the neck being an exit would from the front. Also gun people on YouTube said the gun they said Robinson used would have done significantly more damage and the "Man of Steel" narrative is a clear lie

I'm exceedingly skeptical
So much crazy **** going on my head is spinning. First the weird Rapist "assassination attempt" now this. My very first thought with Kirk was that it might be an inside job so who knows?
Yeah, there's some crazy theories online (one which includes it being a hologram of Kirk), but the shot angle/different gun stuff does seem within the realm of believability.
Also can't really trust the current FBI and the information they have given us

Digging into this would cause me to have to watch the footage of his killing/death and I'm not into snuff films so I will remain unqualified to evaluate these claims.
One guy did a good video of it without it being excessive. I still don't think I would be able to post it here.
