The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Morant is now week to week with a sprained ankle. Putting 3 starters return uncertain. Eddey had ankle surgery and isnt expected until mid November. JJJ had turf toe surgery and was thought to come back mid October but not certain.

They might be going fishing this year

Lebron just said tomorrow is the Decision 2 at noon EST.

He retiring or just doing some BS ad?

Reminder we do own their 2027 pick and while this would create some cap space I think I'd rather have Bron retire. Guy is still very good and helps them win games.

Someone pointed out it is National Taco Tuesday and Amazon Prime Day. This is gonna be an effing ad and I think he needs to be knocked down several spots in the GOAT debate if so.

I get that trolling the entire world could be entertaining when you are as rich and famous as Lebron, but he has to have learned from the Decision 1 right???

You'd think so. If its an ad everyone needs to boycott him and the advertiser lol.

I've watched a little bit of preseason to get a first look at the rookies. Unfortunately a lot of guys haven't played because of injuries.

- Cooper looked really good. He already looks like he belongs and is going to help win games.
- V.J. has had moments, but looks like a typical rookie.
- Kon was very good offensively, but not great defensively
- Fears was mostly bad.
- CMB was very good defensively, but can't make an open jumper (reports are that he's had a very good camp)
- Coward looks long, but looked a little lost
- Didn't see Carter Bryant
- Didn't see Beringer
- Traore looked pretty good, but wasn't amazing.
- Asa looked ok, but didn't do much.
- Saraf looked ok.
- I didn't see Jace
- McNeeley looked really out of place

Probably a lot of confirmation bias here, as this was about what I expected from everyone.

Beringer looked great when I watched, at least when you consider how raw he is
