Corbin and co are seriously risking the future of the team

The guys who are playing the best should play. The comment that vets will be upset if they are benched. Too bad. You don't see our young guys complaining so why should they be able to complain. They are not entitled to playing time simply because they are veterans. If I were coach I would tell everyone, "Minutes are not guaranteed I will play the players who play hard and contribute to winning. If you are having a bad game then I will try someone else."

The organization has to decide what their ultimate goal is. Make playoffs or contend for a championship. Perhaps the decision will be made easier if the Jazz continue to lose or if they start winning again. Personally, I think it is a no brainer to play the young guys because my goal is to win an NBA championship.

I think Ty thinks that winning is more important than development so that Utah maintains a winning culture.

The problem is that what Ty thinks will win him games doesn't win him games.
And Milsap and Big Al are too tired.

There's no reason why Burks should be receiving DNPs....

I've seen every game this season and Burks has in no way looked any worse than Howard has looked since he's come back from his injury. Howard has been absolutely brutal, yet he keeps getting minutes.

Agreed. Howard is bleh.

I'm a Corbin supporter, but it's hard to stay behind the no rook rotation.

He has to be enforcing something. Remember, when Burks was in he continually played outside the offense.

Howard was pretty good before the injury, so I'm willing to have a little patience with the idea that he could be involved in a trade before the deadline. Ideally, we need at least one of CJ/Howard/Harris to have a good stretch leading up to the trade deadline, so they could be used as throw-ins. I don't like the DNPs, but I'll live with them for now as long as we move someone by the deadline.

??????????? You mean there are Jazz fans who don't see all the games? Shocking! Personally I've seen all the games for so long i can't remember when. Guess this behavior shows an unhealthy psychosis, huh? And may explain some
of my posts too.

The Jazz as an organization have a hard time accepting mistakes from young players. To me this translates to the Jazz as an organization developing rookies/sophomores.

Hayward has shown that he deserves more minutes a game this year. He is averaging 28 minutes a game. He should be at 30 minimum and possibly closer to 35 minutes a game.

Every time I see Kanter I see a player that is getting better every time he hits the floor. Kanter is averaging 14.5 minutes a game. I honestly believe that by just getting him 20 minutes a game that he could show enough progress to let one of the veteran bigs go (Jefferson).

If the Jazz are still struggling by the end of February that will show who this team really is. If they are struggling then it should be all out "development time".

What has Hayward done to show he needs more minutes? He has been no better than Bell, CJ, Howard, or Burks. If anything Hayward has shown to be wildly inconsistent and can not seem to shoot.

I agree with that, I just hope it comes down to that.

WTF are you talking about? There is more to basketball than shooting 3s. Hayward has been the Jazz' best defender. He's a great distributor and he makes everyone around him better. He's been driving aggressively to the rim, and fighting for every rebound. Howard on the other hand is atrocious. He had a good 4 game stretch before he got injured. But that's it. I think he hustles after loose balls and occasionally plays tough defense. But he plays with CJ. Watching him and CJ fighting over who gets to chuck the ball in the general direction of the basket is hilarious.

Agreed with the post above. You've got to be kidding all of us when you make this comment.
Without Hayward on the floor, our defense with be 100 percent more atrocious than it already is.
