Hardy sends everyone to the glass.

But it works way worse for us because the Rockets have Amen Thomspon and Tari Eason who are elite transition defenders and the Jazz have terrible transition defenders, lol.

Amen can crash and then instantly get back to shut off transition. The Jazz guys crash and then take 8 years to get back.

Jazz have the 5th ranked transition defense by points per possession. Houston has the 21st ranked by PPP

Well, it's been 7 games, but also PPP is a horrific metric for transition defense too.

Last year, teams took 22.6% of their possessions in transition against the Jazz (the worst in the league and one of the worst marks in NBA history). The Rockets were middle of the pack at 18.4%

Jazz are right in the middle of hte pack in terms of % of possessions allowed in transition, but when you factor in offensive rebounding %, the Jazz are playing great transition D.
 
Too lazy to check, but I want to say transition offense is not actually that more efficient than half court offense these days...but it's also kind of hard to define what transition means. I think teams that can offensive rebound almost always win out on that tradeoff. The bigger problems with our transition D is likely the egregious amount of TO's we have.

Turnovers is another area where we are back to back 30th place.
 
The guys rally around walkers season ending injury and we unfortunately win this game and then the tanking begins

How many points Lauri will score tonight vs his ''future team''.
If there is any real heat for Lauri's rumored trade to Detroit Pistons this is the game where Pistons mangement ( at least GM ) should be scouting Lauri.
