Utah's Next Great White Hope

Can he play the SF position? It doesn't sound like it. The Jazz don't need another PF unless they get rid of AJ or Millsap. I haven't seen him play so I don't have an opinion on him but if he can't play SF then I am not too excited about him.

He willl not go in the first round.

EDIT: PKM I apologize I thought we were talking about Doug still.

Not this year. No way. Maybe down the road tho if the right situation comes. I only see him being a late 1st to mid 2nd. Just depends on how his game progresses. He played well for team USA this past summer he developed more of a faceup game, and shot mostly three's. If his stroke becomes super deadly (which right now is more of an open set shot) and develops more dynamic offensive game I could see him being 1st round. But, too hard to tell right now. We will get a way better idea come tourny time. I truly believe that about a lot of prospects tho.

A few questions.
Why?
Have you seen him play?
What other PG's in the draft would you take over him?

Perhaps I should have said, "imo."

It's nothing more than how deep the draft is all the way into mid 2nd round. There are just too many kids playing at a high level and against other top competition. Obviously the kid can score, but he's not an above average athlete, and the couple games I saw (only 2) he was a bit shaky with the decision making. This is no slight to Damian, I just think there are too many kids that are doing it against other elite players. (imo)

Which two games did you see?

Lillard reminded me a lot of Derrick Rose in the one game I've seen of him in person, though obviously he needs work with his ball skills and using his gifts to his advantage more. He just was noticeably more explosive than anybody else playing in that game. He's a NBA player that I would easily take a shot on in that late first round/early second. Doesn't mean he'll be great, he could end up just being a Ronnie Price type guy(more offensively oriented though - just talking spot minutes), but he strikes me as having a more complete game and more utility for bigger minutes in the NBA.

My underrated white guy in the next few years:

He just gives me that Steve Nash vibe. Gritty as ****. Leader. Sets up guys extremely well. Annoying to watch when you're a fan of the other team, but could run an NBA team by the balls from day 1. He's only rated as the #71 Junior on Draft Express, which is a complete joke.

I'm kinda liking Tomas Satoransky. I'm not sure he can play point in the NBA (he's like 6'5 or 6'6") but from the games I've seen him on XBox live he's looked pretty solid. He can jump, pass, shoot and has great size for a PG.

i have seen that dude play too he has some white boy hops!

Big and Clutch game doe Dougy Mac! 16 points, 10 rebounds! He'll look good in Jazz blue and gold! Utah's 2nd pick of the 1st round (if they have it) should have McDermott's name all over it.

Crowder's niche is similar, but there isn't really room for both. Give me the guy that does everything and specifically affects the game on the defensive end.
