Presti’s entire legacy is built off of the Clippers being forced to give them SGA and their entire draft capital for the future.
He’s good but he’s had a lot of stuff fall into his lap. You can say at least he took advantage of that stuff sure.
Presti takes swings and is willing to make bold trades. He knew Paul George didn't want to be in OKC, and he traded for PG anyway. Then he got rewarded for it. He knows it's okay to miss in the draft, but he picks guys who will have an impact if they hit. Presti missed on Pokusevski, Ousmane Dieng, Darius Bazley, and a few others. Topic is struggling with health issues. He moved on from Giddey. But when his guys hit, they really hit -- Chet, JDub, Dort, etc.
OKC is probably going to win 70 games this year and go back to the Finals.
